Join us and our menagerie of winery dogs for a day filled with food, wine, wine specials, mobile dog adoptions, dog items for sale with proceeds benefitting Woods Humane Society.
10am-5pm at the winery.
The Wineries of Highway 46 East will also be helping us support Woods with a Cause for the Paws Passport Weekend. Visit a minimum of 4 wineries to get an entry for prizes. Visit more for additional entries. Passport good September 19-21st at these participating wineries in addition to Chumeia Vineyards: Bianchi, Clautiere, Eberle, EOS, Firestone, Martin & Weyrich, Meridian, Sylvester and Tobin James. Our Tribute To Cisco

When we heard our friends at our neighboring winery, Tobin James, recently lost their own winery dog, we decided to dedicate this year's Cause For The Paws to Cisco.
Cisco
1993-2008
He brought more joy to more people than any living creature who has ever graced the Earth. Cisco was Tobin James Cellars first winery employee and has had a paw in every vintage since he was a puppy. In Cisco's lifetime he greeted more than a million visitors at Tobin James Cellars. He was very special to many of our friends. We are so grateful to those of you who came to see him and treated him so kindly. His smiling face and crazy antics will live on forever in all of our hearts. Our "Pawtnership" With Woods Humane Society
After Mark and Julie Nesbitt’s beloved Golden Retriever, Callie, passed away in early 2007, we decided to honor her memory by teaming up with Woods Humane Society in San Luis Obispo to create an ongoing legacy of giving to the homeless animals of our county. September 2007, we hosted our 1st Annual Cause For The Paws to raise money for Woods.
Mark and Julie, at the event’s mobile adoption, extended their canine family by adopting Cooper and Lucy and they can be seen around the winery along with Cristo, Mud Bone and Blue. The Whiskers and Paws Club is our way of giving back year round to a cause dear to our hearts.
